Orville Lee Receives Award

The article, "Culture & Democratic Theory: Toward a Theory of Symbolic Democracy," in Constellations 5.4 (1998), by Orville Lee, Northwestern University, received the Best Article Award from the Sociology of Culture Section, American Sociological Association.

APSA Annual Meeting Papers Online

PROceedings: Political Research Online, is a searchable collection of APSA Annual Meeting papers and abstracts. Papers are made available online prior to each conference and for the year following. The 1999 PROceedings is now available and will remain on-line through August 2000.

Listserve Note

The Political Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association is developing a list-serve. The list will send out announcements and other information related to politics and sociology, including calls for papers, awards, nominations, and so forth.
