Section By-Laws (Article II, Section 5) require the Nominating Committee to “draw up a slate of candidates which gives weight to names put forward by membership....”
The section has these officers: Chair, Vice-Chair (who is Chair-Elect), Secretary/Treasurer, and Program Chair. We also are searching for an Editor for Political Communication Report.
The section has three award committees. These have been three-member committees: Murray Edelman Distinguished Career Award, Doris Graber Outstanding Book Award, and Paul Lazarsfeld Best Paper Award.
