2005 White House Conference on Aging

With upcoming reauthorizations of the Older Americans Act and a White House Conference in aging tentatively scheduled for 2005, TA will be needed to ensure that disability-related concerns are incorporated into the legislative agenda and national policies. The RRTC will work to include these issues on the agenda of state mini White House Conferences on Aging and by providing information to delegates to the national conference. Our planned state-of-the art conference will also integrate information on research outcomes and service needs with policy priorities and the furtherance of a national disability rights agenda.
