Improving Health Experiences and Access to Health Services for Women with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) (R3)

Goals:

  • Explore health experiences and access for women with I/DD, as conveyed through the words and experiences of women with I/DD, their caregivers, and health professionals
  • Develop models of community health for women with I/DD
  • Explore innovative ways to connect women with I/DD to the network of community resources for other women with disabilities
  • Develop guidelines for appropriate, accessible health services, and programs for women with I/DD
