RRTCADD Women's Health Research Study (2003-2008)

The RRTC on Aging with Developmental Disabilities conducts studies on the health needs and issues of women with, developmental and intellectual disabilities. Several publications have been produced, including a fact sheet with the national ARC, a book, edited book chapters and several journal articles. RRTC-ADD researchers also conduct numerous conference presentations and trainings on women's health and I/DD.

Our current study, Improving Health Experiences and Access to Health Services for Women with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) focuses on improving the health services and experiences of women with I/DD, in collaboration with the Health Resource Center for Women with Disabilities (HRCWD) at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
