In a study done with 48,000 men it was found that men who drank 6 or more cups of water a day had half the risk of men who drank less than a cup of water per day of bladder cancer. Water eliminates the carcinogens that may come in contact with the bladder. Drinking more of other fluids also seemed to reduce the risk, but it wasn’t as clear-cut as with water.
