Each year, Sigma Xi recognizes a small group of chapters for outstanding chapter activity. Certificates of Excellence are awarded to chapters that have demonstrated exceptional innovation and quality in their annual programming. Chapter Program Awards recognize singularly exceptional chapter programs. Diversity Program Awards honor chapters that have organized outstanding programs that promote diversity within the science, engineering and research communities. All award-winning chapters are honored during the Society's Annual Meeting. Show here is Lon Kaufman receiving the award on behalf of the chapter.
