Discover forty centuries of human creativity at The Art Institute of
Chicago, one of the world's leading museums. From ancient Chinese bronzes

arts, and architectural fragments and drawings. With more than 300,000 works
of art, including A Sunday Afternoon on La Grand Jatte1884 by
Georges Seurat, American Gothic by Grant Wood, Nighthawks
by Edward Hopper, and 33 paintings by Claude Monet, it houses the largest
collection of Impressionist paintings outside the Louvre in Paris. |

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Chicago's legendary Steppenwolf
Theatre Company, Chicago's premiere photographer Victor Skrebneski has captured
33 members of the Steppenwolf ensemble in individual portraits that are
now on view in the exhibition Steppenwolf 25 Skrebneski, presented
by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs at City Gallery in the Historic
Water Tower. |
