From Teachers to Teachers: An Online Induction Module
Becoming a special education teacher is an on-going process. It happens in concert with our students, our schools and communities, and perhaps more than anything, it happens through a rich and interactive dialog with our peers and colleagues.
This multimedia induction module is yet another venue for that dialog. The Transitioning to Special Education Teaching module currently features more than 100 artifacts from practicing special education teachers’ classrooms. Through video, audio and digital technologies, you'll hear teachers' reasoning, see lesson plans and sample documents from classroom life, and gain ideas as well as questions to help you reason about teaching and students' learning.
