Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), so your application process
should start there. We at UIC-Christ Family Medicine apply the
same intensity of purpose and friendly learning environment to the training of future
family physicians as we do to the education of medical students. We are proud of our

Our formal interview process is designed to serve as a friendly exchange
of information and enable you to make an informed choice about your residency training.
You will meet several faculty and resident physicians and have opportunity to ask
questions freely. You will also be given a tour of Christ Hospital, recently ranked
as one of the top teaching hospitals in the United States.
Obviously you will make a residency choice based on how well you think
your own needs will be met by a particular program. But if your needs include strong
clinical experience, excellent supervision and didactic training by energetic,
approachable faculty, and a friendly and supportive learning environment in one of the
