Greater Chicago Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (GC HERC)

Northwestern University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Chicago, Argonne National Laboratory and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory co-founded GC-HERC to find effective ways to assist the spouses and partners of faculty and staff to secure area employment and ways to address issues of faculty and staff diversity. It is unique among the HERC in having a very useful section on dual careers.
