An important part of the NSF-ADVANCE goal is to share effective strategies and materials to benefit all institutions and STEM women faculty. Indeed, the final step in The UIC WISEST strategies is to advocate and collaborate across UIC and nationally to increase the presence and influence of STEM women in the academy and workforce. Therefore, we offer the tools and materials that we have developed in WISEST to benefit STEM faculty at UIC and other institutions. These materials have been developed by Cynthia Jameson and other STEM faculty for the UIC WISEST Post-doc Institute (Preparing women for an academic career), and others were developed by Claudia Morrissey and the SUCCEED team of WISEST Facilitators (Training a faculty search committee on how to conduct an effective search for stellar faculty), and by the Facilitators of the STEM Women Faculty Development Subcommittee (Providing Support & Career Development for Faculty). Of course, much of the material developed for the UIC Post-doc Institute are also useful for providing support and career development for tenure-track faculty, but they are listed only under the former category.
