A Timeless Evening
Time
is ticking down as the Timeless Gala draws near. Be sure to join us on
September 26 for an unforgettable evening celebrating 150 years of
pharmacy. Those attending will have special access to The Field
Museum’s exhibits, including Real Pirates, as well as a front row seat
for the innagural Legacy Awards. A special block of rooms is being held
at the Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan Avenue with free trolley
shuttles to and from the gala. Rooms can be reserved online
or by calling (800) 235-4670. Currently, more than 380 people have
registered for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Want to know who from

Reunion 2009
Attention
classes of 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989,
1994, 1999 and 2004! Make plans to spend the day on campus on Friday,
September 25, to celebrate the 2009 Pharmacy Alumni Reunion. The day’s
activities include a Future of Pharmacy symposium, continuing education
sessions and alumni awards ceremony. Enjoy an extended weekend in
Chicago and attend the Gala on Saturday, the 26th. For more

Chances
are you know an exceptional fellow alumnus, and we want you to tell us
all about him or her. The Pharmacy Alumni Association seeks nominations
for its annual alumni awards given out each year during reunion
festivities. The four awards recognize the great accomplishments of
pharmacy alumni in a variety of areas. Full award descriptions and a

5th Annual Golf Outing
Calling
all golfers! The 5th Annual APhA Golf Outing will take place on
Saturday, September 12, at Woodbine Golf Course in Homer Glen.
Continuing education and lunch begins at 11 a.m., with the shotgun
start at 1:00 p.m. The day’s events conclude with the awards dinner at

The White Coats Are Coming!
Every
August, the college welcomes its newest class of pharmacy students at
the White Coat Ceremony. Students proudly bring their family and
friends to watch as they receive their white coats and recite the Oath
of Professionalism, dedicating themselves to the highest professional
standards. And each year, COP alumni make the event even more special
by coming back to coat students. If you are interested in helping to
