The College of Pharmacy Alumni Office and Pharmacy Alumni Board of Directors proudly sponsor the below awards. Awards are given out annual during the Pharmacy Reunion Weekend. To nominate someone for an award, you may fill out an online form here or submit a letter of nomiation along with the nominee's CV or resume (if available) to Deb Fox in the Pharmacy Alumni Office:

Rising Star
Recognizes recent graduates who have already distinguished themselves in their career.

Criteria include:

have earned first pharmacy degree within the last 10 years.
must be able to be present to receive the award.
be a graduate of the UIC College of Pharmacy.

Alumnus of the Year

Highest honor given to an alumnus by the College.

Criteria include:

be a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy (Medical or Chicago campus)
have a distinguished career (administrator, author, business, educator, practice, research, etc).
be a leader/innovator in the profession
contributed to the profession
must be present to receive the award

Constituent Leadership Award

This award is bestowed upon alumni who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership in their involvement with a particular constituent alumni association, including such specific contributions as organizing, managing, and working with a alumni board; increasing volunteer participation in the constituent group; improving UIAA membership; developing innovative programs; and strengthening relationships among alumni, students and faculty. Up to two Constituent Leadership Awards may be presented from each campus each year. This award is presented by the University of Illinois Alumni Association at the Constituent Leadership Conference in January.

Distinguished Service Award

This award is presented by the University of Illinois Alumni Association at the UIC Commencement.
