Research in the Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences

The scope of the Department's research enterprise is diverse, with both basic science and clinical interests in nanopharmacy, pharmaceutics, molecular genetics, drug delivery, pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, cancer pharmacology, cancer biology, regenerative medicine, neuropharmacology, pharmacogenomics, forensic science, toxicology, and others.

A number of the members of the Department are also involved with other research centers including: the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and the University of Illinois Cancer Center.
