Medicine: Ambulatory Care
The Section of Ambulatory Care Medicine practice outpatient clinical pharmacy in areas of adult internal medicine, chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes, geriatrics, GI/liver, neurology, psychiatry, pulmonary and smoking cessation clinics. The goal of the Section is to be the premier example for outpatient clinical pharmacy services by providing outstanding patient care and challenging rotations for pharmacy practice residents, pharmacy students and other healthcare providers. Members also provide didactic lectures in the College of Pharmacy and are involved in various clinical research projects related to their specialty area.
