Computer Lab Replacement Cycle
Computer Lab update schedule for our six largest labs:
| 172/174 Lab | We update one-half (26 PCs) of the primary computer lab (180a) every 2.5 years. We are replacing 26 computers this summer for the Fall, 2012 semester. |
| 2 North Lab | We update the 2 North lab every 5 years (20 PCs). This lab was recently updated. |
| 2 South Lab | We update the 2 South Lab every 5 years (12 PCs). This lab was recently updated. |
| Pharmacy Admin Graduate Assistant Lab | We update this lab as budget allows from PharmAdmin. We are set to update this lab in Summer, 2012 with renovated/repaired PCs formerly in 2 North and with a server based thin-client model. |
| Rockford Combined (Med/Pharm) Lab | We update this lab every 5 years. We are scheduled to update this 50-seat lab in Summer, 2015. (We pay for half of the systems, Medicine pays for the other half.) |
| Rockford Small Library Lab | We update this lab every 5 years. We are scheduled to update this 20-seat lab in Summer, 2015. (We pay for half of the systems, Medicine pays for the other half.) |
* We are also scheduled to update the software and operating system this summer, once the new PCs are in place.
