- Provide AV/Distance Education/technical support to instructors
- Create Service Desk tickets for classroom issues
- Participate in periodic meetings, Meet and Greet with faculty at the beginning of each semester
- Provide help with Blackboard 'DL FIRST' blogs, training and collaborative tools
- Refresh your knowledge with updated training at the beginning of every semester
- Occasional meetings/collaboration with other institutions
Requirements:
- P1 student at Rockford or Chicago campus
- Convergent thinker capable of providing temporary solutions to class session issues before escalating to IT
- Proactive, punctual and responsible in setting up the classroom sessions
- Availability to participate in biweekly meetings (over video) with other DL student technicians
- Good communication skills and the ability to report all of the technical issues to IT staff asap
