2010 COP Research Day

	College of Pharmacy Research Day February 26, 2010
	The Research Day showcases the research activities in the College of Pharmacy. This year, close to 60 of our trainees presented their research in a poster session, which was followed by a guest lecture. Afternoon session included poster judging by a panel of experts composed from our alumni, external judges, as well as College of Pharmacy faculty members. The day concluded with an award ceremony honoring this year’s recipients of graduate student awards, Vahlteich award winners, and winners of the poster competition. Guest Lecture	The lecture titled “Growth Hormone (GH), GH Antagonists, GH Receptor ‘Knock-outs’: of Mice and Men (and Women)” was presented by Dr. John J. Kopchick, Goll-Ohio Eminent Scholar & Professor of Molecular Biology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences of Ohio University.
