| Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards (NRSA) for Individual Predoctoral Fellows in PharmD/PhD Programs (Parent F31) | The purpose of this individual predoctoral
research training fellowship is to provide support for promising students
enrolled in a PharmD/PhD degree program who will be performing dissertation
research and training in areas relevant to the missions of NIGMS, NICHD, and
the Office of Dietary Supplements. There are multiple deadlines. Expires May 8, 2014. |
| Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards for Individual Predoctoral Fellowships to Promote Diversity in Health Related Research (Parent F31-Diversity) | The purpose of this individual predoctoral research training fellowship is to to improve the diversity of the health-related research workforce by supporting the training of predoctoral students from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented. It will provide up to 5 years of support for research training leading to PhD, MD/PhD, or another formally combined professional degree and research doctoral degree. There are multiple deadlines and multiple institutes are participating. |
| NIH Translational Scholar Career Awards in Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine (K23) | The purpose of this Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award (K23) is to provide salary and “protected time” (up to five years for this award) to support the career development of investigators who have made a commitment to focus their research endeavors on patient-oriented research. The Translational Scholar Awards in Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine program is intended to address the scarcity of investigators cross-trained in both clinical research core competencies and modern methods required to address pharmacogenomics research problems in patient populations. Dual mentors from the clinical and translational science awards consortium and the Pharmacogenomics Research Network are required. There are multiple deadlines. |
