Associate Dean
Thomas TenHoeve, III, PhD

After 17 years in various positions at Iowa State University, Dr. TenHoeve joined the Office of Student Affairs in 2000 as its new Associate Dean.   As Associate Dean, Dr. TenHoeve oversees the operation of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).  He and his staff are responsible for student recruitment, admissions, advising, counseling, implementation of academic standing policy, maintenance of student academic records, and facilitating student schedules.

Assistant Dean
Debra Agard, PharmD, MHPE

A 1992 graduate of the UIC PharmD Program, Dr. Agard brings a wealth of experience in understanding students’ concerns.  As Assistant Dean, she assists students in problem solving and coordinates many college events including:  Orientation, Convocation and Placement Conferences. She also is the Office of Student Affairs liaison to Pharmacy Student Council and a number of college committees.

Assistant Dean
Jean MB Woodward, PhD, RPh

Dr. Woodward joined the Office of Student Affairs in 2000 from our arch rival, Midwestern University.  Her interests are in human resources management, including professional socialization and development, job/professional satisfaction and quality of life.  She is also a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy Administration and coordinates a P-2 spring course.

Admissions Officer
Paula Fleming

For more than thirteen years, Ms. Fleming has been a part of the OSA team.  She manages the admissions review process and interview schedule.  She counsels pharmacy applicants and participates in the Application Workshop.  She also manages industry field trips for our students and assists them with day-to-day concerns.

Visiting Project Specialist
Holly Schwichtenberg

Holly joined the OSA team in 2007.  She serves as one of our "front-line" people.  She greets students and others, answers OSA phones, and provides general support for the OSA staff in terms of coordinating special projects.

Duplicating Machine Operator
Walter Ford

Walter has been a part of OSA for nine years.  Walter provides the copying service for our office and most of the college.  He is an integral part of process that provides our students with the many informative handouts that they receive during their time here.
