Affiliation Programs

The UIC College of Pharmacy has partnered with Illinois State University (ISU), Northern Illinois University (NIU), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC),  and Western Illinois University (WIU) to form Affiliation Programs that guarantee a limited number of exceptional students admission to the College of Pharmacy.  To be eligible for consideration for admission to these programs, prospective students must:

Complete a minimum of 3, full-time (minimum of 12 credits) semesters of university coursework at their respective institutions and with at least 4 full-time semesters of coursework remaining in their program. Preference will be given to students who have completed some pre-pharmacy coursework.  Students who begin their academic careers elsewhere and are transfer students to these universities are not eligible for the Affiliate Programs.  Only students who matriculate to these univerities directly from high school are eligible.
Have a minimum cumulative (all coursework) GPA of 3.5/4 at their respective schools.
Successfully complete an on-site interview (UIC campus).
Demonstrate expressed interest in the profession of pharmacy/healthcare through work or volunteer activities.
