Affiliation Programs
The UIC College of Pharmacy has partnered with Illinois State University (ISU), Northern Illinois University (NIU), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and Western Illinois University (WIU) to form Affiliation Programs that guarantee a limited number of exceptional students admission to the College of Pharmacy. To be eligible for consideration for admission to these programs, prospective students must:
| Complete a minimum of 3, full-time (minimum of 12 credits)semesters of university coursework at their respective institutions and with at least 4 full-time semesters of coursework remaining in their program. Preference will be given to students who have completed some pre-pharmacy coursework. |
| Have a minimum cumulative (all coursework) GPA of 3.5/4 at their respective schools. |
| Successfully complete an on-site interview (UIC campus). |
| Demonstrate expressed interest in the profession of pharmacy/healthcare through work or volunteer activities. |
| Participate in extracurricular activities at the collegiate level. |
Applications to the Affiliation Programs are considered once a year and are due January 15.

If admitted to an Affiliation Program, a student must meet certain conditions to be eligible to matriculate to the UIC College of Pharmacy.
