A Writer's Motive

My LAS 100 gave me the idea to write about genetics and my English 160 writing class on authority showed me how to analyze the relationship between a writer's motives and authority. I argued that genetic patenting is going to affect humans, particularly in the area of insurance. We might have to pay royalties to a scientist who discovered a genetic test; if you had to be tested you might have to pay that scientist royalties.
