PROGRAM ONLINE LEARNING | TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS COHORT INFORMATION You will be joining a cohort based on your start date. A cohort is a group of students who are enrolled in the same program and courses together. Cohorts for the RN to BSN online program start in January and August of each year. Applications are accepted at any time during the year. We recommend that your application and all materials be received at least three weeks prior to the intended start date of the desired term. In general, you will take courses with your cohort in the order described on the Program Structure page of this Web site, but we understand that life events and other circumstances occasionally may impact your ability to follow your cohort's schedule. UIC advisers are prepared to work with you to adjust your course schedule to reflect your situation.
