Project Goal:
To investigate the effects of community involvement in
HIV/AIDS and gay-related groups and organizations among Latino gay and bisexual men and transgender
persons
in Chicago and San Francisco.
What?
We interviewed Latino gay or bisexual men and transgender
people to learn more about culture, community, sexual practices,
and substance use.
This information will increase our understanding of Latino gay and
bisexual men, and transgender persons, and may help develop
effective HIV prevention programs for this community.
