Example of Scoring: Family Centered Care quality measure:
Parent answers the individual survey items in quality measure 2 in the following way: 8a- Always, 8b- Always, 8c- Usually, 8d- Sometimes
9a- Never, 9b- Never, 9c- Always, 9d- Never , 9e- Never
1) Recode: Recode each response to a 0-100 values:
8a- 100, 8b- 100, 8c- 66.6666, 8d- 33.3333
9a- 0, 9b- 0, 9c- 100, 9d- 0 , 9e- 0
2) Score Quality Measure: Mean Score
Calculate the mean score 9 questions.
