Conclusions
1. Evaluation should be a management tool to improve MCH programs (it must be integral part of MCH programming)
2. Evaluation can be used to enhance community and political support for MCH programs
3. Evaluation is an evolving capacity in MCH (its infrastructure and scientific capacity needs to be nurtured to provide effective input into MCH practice)
