In order to improve our service performance and broaden our skill sets,
CADE is constantly exploring new activity areas and emerging fields
of online development. The projects below are just some of the ventures
we’ve
recently completed.
IDPH Learning Management System
Faced
with the threat of bioterrorism and virus outbreaks, the Illinois
Department of Public Health (IDPH) had to assess whether its
workforce was ready to address potential threats and improve
its employees’ role-based
competencies. The IDPH Learning Management System (LMS) is
a customized online solution designed to assist the state in its
objective of total emergency preparedness.

IPHFI Response Capacity Inventory
The
Illinois Public Health Futures Institute was entrusted with
rolling out the Public Health Preparedness and Response Capacity
Inventory to all local health departments in the state. CADE
created a web-based version of the Inventory and coordinated
training and technical support around its release schedule.
The data was scored and analyzed according to CDC algorithms
using SAS statistical
analysis software.

UIC Course Evaluation Questionnaire System
Schools
and colleges at the University of Illinois at Chicago were
searching for a more practical and budget-friendly alternative
to their paper-based course
evaluations and questionnaires. CADE built a full-feature online
system that is reliable, accurate, easy to use and manage, and guaranteed
to generate high responses rates.

AMCHP Conference Archives
The
Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP) wanted
to boost the impact of its annual face-to-face meeting. Online conference
archives—combining video, slides and transcripts—present
an effective and cost-efficient means to extend the longevity and
reach of the meeting.
