Downloading
RealPlayer or an Internet Browser

To
download RealPlayer:
- The
latest version of RealPlayer is available for free from the
RealPlayer website:

Be sure to choose the free version of the Player.
You'll
have to scroll down the page a bit to find it! Look for a gray
horizontal bar or rule on the RealPlayer page. The link to the
free version of the most recent version of the Player will be
on the left side of that bar.
- In
order to download the player you’ll need to supply your:
a.
email address
b. country
c. operating system (OS) e.g. Windows 98, Mac OS 8.1, Linux
2.0, etc.
d. language
e. Internet connection e.g. 28.8K modem, cable, T1, etc.
- Next,
choose whether to download RealPlayer as a standalone application,
or as part of the Real Entertainment Center.
- Choose
the closest geographic location to begin downloading (if you
are in the United States, choose Seattle WA or SF Bay Area,
CA).
- Choose
"Save to Disk" and select the directory where you
want the RealPlayer installation program to be saved (e.g.
C: drive, desktop, etc.)
- Locate
and launch the file you downloaded by choosing the Run option
in the Start menu or exploring the directory you selected.
This will begin the RealPlayer setup process.
Trouble-Shooting
RealPlayer: If you experience any network server connection
problems while attempting to access the video, open your RealPlayer
and perform the following steps:
1.
On the RealPlayer menu bar, select View.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Select the Connection tab.
4, Click the Network Time Out Setting button
5.
You have two options that an be changed, Connection Time
Out and Server Time Out. Type in "300"
in both option fields, and click OK.
6. Close the "Prefereneces" box and restart
the video.

download the latest version of an Internet Browser- Microsoft
Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or AOL:

upgrade your browser to the latest version, go one of these
site and download the appropriate software:
