On the evening of February 6, 2002, Horizon Hospice hosted a discussion on spirituality and death with Studs Terkel and Dr. Quentin Young. Horizon Hospice brought together friends, supporters and colleagues to join these notable Chicagoans to explore an issue that is bound up in all of our lives.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Studs Terkel has been a patient of Dr. Quentin Young’s for years, and each has long been a contributor on the local broadcasting scene. Mr. Terkel and Dr. Quentin Young discussed some of the end-of-life concerns raised in Mr. Terkel's latest book, Will the Circle Be Unbroken: Reflections on Death, Rebirth and Hunger for a Faith, published in 2001, which contains oral histories of dozens of people and their thoughts and experiences around death. We invite you to enjoy the video archive of their discussion.
