| Audio / Video: |
This course makes extensive use of RealPlayer G2 for audio and video. To take advantage of these materials you need two things.
The quality of audio and video over the Internet is highly dependant on the speed, quality and the amount of traffic on your connection. As you play some audio/video you may experience breaking up of the material. Dependant on which player you are using, you may see a message displayed like "Network congestion". This is a sign of traffic on the network. It is usually an intermitant problem related to high useage times of the day. Under rare circumstances you may lose your connection altogether. In this case the player will display something like "Stopped". Click your player's start button to reestablish your connection.
| Some common problems: |
If you wish to participate in a course from your place of work please view this test page while at your workplace. It is not uncommon for these enviorments to place a Proxy Server between you and the Internet for security reasons. You may have difficulty accessing some of our services. We are sorry but we cannot assist in these types of problems. See your network administrator.
