Association for Children with a Disability has two great lists: "How to be Your Own Best Advocate" and "Tips for Advocating on Behalf of Others." http://www.acd.org.au/self_advocacy

Children Now Their goal is to improve conditions for all children by bringing about change in government, businesses, and communitites. Their health initiative has projects on managed care and early childhood and managed care and adolescent transition. http://www.childrennow.org.
