Dr. Betty Vohr, M.D. a pediatrician and director of neonatal follow-up at Women and Infants Hospital, Brown Medical School in Rhode Island.

Regina Brady, the mother of Michela, a child with a hearing impairment. The Bradys live in Rhode Island

Jennifer Pinski, is the mother of Max, a child with a hearing impairment. The Pinskis live in Illinois.

Website of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a professional organization of speech, language and hearing therapists. Offers free download of brochure eon newborn hearing screening, has toll-free help line for consumers, involved in advocacy and public education.

The most comprehensive site covering education and information pertaining to children who are deaf or hard of hearing. This is the website of the National Association of the Deaf, a consumer group with state affiliates. NAD is involved in education, advocacy, legislation, peer and family support and public education. Many resources for consumers, families, extensive information on technology. Lots of information on newborn hearing screening.

Informative, consumer-friendly information for families of children of all ages available in both English and Spanish. Clear explanation of newborn hearing screening.
