Technical Requirements

The registration process will automatically check your computer to make sure it is capable of running the webcasts. You can connect directly to the technical preflight here. As outlined below, you may need to download and install software if your computer does not currently have it.

You will need to download and install the free basic version of RealPlayer 10, RealOne Player or RealPlayer 8 on the computer you will be using to connect to the meetings. (Look for the link to the FREE RealOne Player).

You must have JavaScript enabled on your internet browser, and you must have Java enabled.

You must have a monitor resolution of at least 800 x 600 to see the entire interface.

The computer you are using to view the webcast should have at least 64 MB RAM. If you have less you may experience a slowing down of performance.

You need a stable internet connection of 56kbps or higher.

Macintosh users should use the Safari browser on Mac OS 10.2 or higher.

Connect to the live webcast 20 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow your computer to connect and download the presentation slides in advance of a live webcast. It could take 10 to 20 minutes to download the slides, depending on the speed of your connection and your computer. (The slides are downloaded to your computer's cache so that they will flip instantly during the presentation.) This requirement does not apply to archived presentations.

Firewalls : If you fail the technical check and the computer you are using is behind a firewall, please contact us.
