Key Features for Learners
Personalized Profile Pages
When learners login, the system presents them with a customized home page, providing at-a-glance information on current and recommended courses, as well as the status of their training needs assessment. The learner’s “My Courses” page provides detailed information about the courses in which he or she is currently enrolled, as well as those completed in the past. Learners can also record and track courses they have completed externally, empowering them to generate and print a complete “transcript” of the courses they have completed.
Online Evaluation
Learners can access and complete quizzes and evaluations directly from links on their “My Courses” page.
Certificate of Completion
Learners can access all of their earned Certificates of Completion directly from links on their “My Courses” page.
Course Catalog and Recommended Course
The course catalog offers the learner access to a list of all available courses, and features a powerful advanced search tool to help the learner easily locate opportunities relevant to him or her. A “Recommended Courses” section displays courses suggested by the system based on his or her self-assessment scores. (Course administrators define the relationship between competencies and courses.)
Course Rating System
Learners have the option of rating their completed courses through a Netflix™-like star rating system. The system uses these individual ratings to calculate average ratings displayed in the course catalog.
A Wealth of Information
The system supports learners with a wide variety of additional information, including a calendar of courses and events; an online help guide; announcements; links; and FAQs.

Key Features for Administrators
Account Management
Global administrators have full control over users, including adding/editing/deleting accounts, setting access rights, viewing log information, and allowing/disallowing course access to learners.
Course Management
Course administrators can easily add/edit/delete events; review and approve events; set seating capacities; specify cost options; set automatic passing rules; generate rosters and sign-in sheets (in Microsoft Word™ or PDF™ formats); create mailing labels, certificates, name tags and more.
Learner Management
On a per course basis, administrators can enroll learners; grade learners on quizzes; pass/fail learners; mass email selective groups of users; and more.

CADE’s LMS features powerful talent management capabilities to help you identify training needs across your organization.
Evaluation Tool
Administrators can create a variety of quizzes and evaluations in several formats. The system stores questions, both individually and in sets, in a knowledge base, enabling administrators to easily repurpose materials without repeating effort.

CADE offers a competency-based approach to learning management, and pre-loads its LMS with core and biorterrorism competency packs.
Partner/Share Courses
With just a few clicks, administrators can share their courses with other LMS Partners, or access courses shared by them on a wide variety of topics and competencies.
Competency Management
The CADE LMS comes pre-loaded with sets of core competencies related to public health and bioterrorism preparedness. Administrators can create unlimited additional competency sets on which learners assess themselves. Administrators also define the relationships between competencies and courses, which affects how the system
recommends courses to learners.
Role Management
Administrators define roles, and assign them to learners, who then assess themselves on competencies related to those roles.
Agency Administration
CADE’s LMS supports “Agencies” within the LMS to house specific groups of users (e.g. county health departments, divisions, etc.). Each agency may contain unlimited levels of sub-organizations, offering a flexible level of administration and organizational hierarchy.
Integrated Learning Content Management System (LCMS)
CADE’s LMS includes a basic Learning Content Management System (LCMS) that allows even non-technical staff to quickly and easily create and deliver SCORM 2004-conformant e-learning modules, as well as import and deliver SCORM 2004-conformant modules created by other companies and organizations.
