Financial Aid
Financial aid is usually available to qualified students in the form of traineeships or research assistantships. Traineeships may include a monthly stipend and/or payment of in-state tuition and fees. Research assistantships provide students with opportunities to participate in faculty research projects and include a wage and, in most cases, a tuition waiver. Students admitted to the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program (including MCH Epidemiology) are eligible to apply for MCH traineeships and assistantships while the Gerontological Public Health Training Program provides pre-doctoral and post-doctoral traineeships in the field of aging. Students may contact the university's Office of Student Financial Aid, the SPH Office of Student Affairs, or the CHS Academic Coordinator at 312-996-8940 for more information.
