Exercises

The data used in this exercise are from the National Health Interview Survey on Disability, Phase 1, developed by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).  Tables 1, 3 through 8 provide the data on some characteristics of the children with special health care needs (CSHCN). These tables were produced using the SETS software that accompanies the CD-ROM version of the 1994 National Health Interview Survey on Disability. Table 2 includes summary data by age and poverty for State X. This type of data is also available on CD format from the Census Bureau on Summary Tape File 3.
