Approach to Collecting and Using School Health Data:
The Model School Health Information System Initiative November 3, 1998 1:30-3:00 p.m. Eastern Time Massachusetts Department of Health officials discuss their goals for and development of the Model School Health Information System. Presenters describe the process of data collection and monitoring the system would permit, the benefits gained by state and local officials through the use of the data produced by the system, and the findings of the pilot test of a computerized health information system. Representatives of pilot sites describe their experiences in implementing the Model School Health Information System in their schools.
