This conference provided a forum for participants to learn about the nature and extent of health and safety hazards faced by artists, performers, professional artistic support staff in the arts and primary post-secondary educators.

Participants learned about injuries and illnesses which artists experience, the conditions which cause the injury and illness and strategies for the control and elimination of hazards.
