Inspection
Regular
site inspections identify new or previously missed hazards
and failures in hazard controls. Checklists, narrative debriefings,
and employee surveys are all useful in gathering information.
Inspections for hazard identification and worker compliance
with health and safety policies keep a program current and
relevant. The Home Care Worker Safety
Assessment Tool may be a useful tool for inspections.
Inspection tools can also be developed combining the results
of several of the completed Safety Assessment forms.
