The
Center is involved in ongoing development of web-based case
studies pertaining to children's environmental exposures and
health issues for health care providers. For those wishing
to obtain CME credit, one and one-half hours credit is available
upon completion of each case study.

Exposure Case Study
The
Center offers a monthly lecture series for pediatric residents
and attending physicians at Cook County Hospital on pediatric
environmental health. Topics include taking an environmental
health history, the toxic effects of mercury exposure, environmental
triggers of asthma, and GIS mapping of lead cases in the city
of Chicago among others. The lectures are presented at Cook
County Children's Hospital, usually the third Thursday of

Our
faculty is also involved in presenting Grand Rounds and providing
continuing education programs pertaining to pediatric environmental
health at hospitals and health care facilities throughout
our region. Health care providers interested in scheduling
