Staff
The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinics are part of the
clinical services provided by teaching faculty of the Great
Lakes Centers for Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health of
the University of Illinois School of Public Health, a World Health Organization
Collaborating Centre. The clinics are members of the Association of
Occupational Environmental Clinics (AOEC) and share the same faculty.
Our physicians are board certified in Occupational Medicine and have
between five and 25 years experience in providing services in both public
and private sectors. In addition our group includes industrial hygienists
and Occupational Health nurses thereby allowing for a full range of
occupational health services.
Linda
Forst MD, MPH is the Director of the Occupational and
Environmental Medicine Clinic at the University of Illinois. Rachel
Rubin MD,MPH is the Director of Occupational and Environmental Medicine
at Cook County Hospital.
Dr. Linda
Forst is board certified in Internal and Occupational Medicine. As
Associate Professor in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences
in the School of Public Health, Dr. Forst teaches courses to medical
and public health students.
Dr. Rachel
Rubin is board certified in Internal and Occupational
Medicine. Dr. Rubin is President of the Association of Occupational
Environmental Clinics. She is Assistant Professor at Rush Medical College
and University of Illinois School of Public Health.
Both Drs., Forst and Rubin have experience in acute injury care, management
of a comprehensive workers compensation program and care of occupational
diseases.
