CONTRIBUTION OF RADON IN WATER TO TOTAL INDOOR AIR RADON IN HOMES ON PUBLIC WATER SUPPLIES
Radon cannot chemically react to other substances, therefore it stays suspended in water until it is released through aeration, for example, running the shower.
The individual risk applies only to homes on private wells or municipal wells that contain high radon gas concentrations.
