Unit Activity 3

The radon measurement results for two side by side devices were 4.6 and 5.6. Work the following problem and determine the Relative % Difference.

Step #1: Determine the average: Add Results #1 & Results #2. Divided this total by 2.

Step #2: Subtract Result #1 from Result #2. Multiply this total by 100.

Step #3 Divide the results of Step #2 by the average calculated in Step #1.
