METHODS THAT DISCOURAGE RADON ENTRY

 

Unit Activity

1. As you should be aware by now, to have radon in your home you need a source, a pathway,
   and an entry point. You also need a driving force. Looking at your own home, what kind of
   driving forces would cause radon entry? Name at least four.

2. Describe how each acts as a driving force.

3. Can you name two things that would reduce the driving force in your home? They can
   be simple or non-practical.

4. Describe—simply—the reason this would reduce the driving force.
