You need to follow these steps a few days before the broadcast. Do not wait until the last minute to check your technical readiness. You cannot connect to the live broadcast without completing these step.

RealPlayer

You will need to download and install the latest released version of RealPlayer on the computer you will be using to connect to the monthly broadcasts. (The link to download the free version of the RealPlayer is located in the lower left corner of the the horizontal gray bar halfway down the RealPlayer web page.)

Computer Preflight

Your computer must connect to and successfully pass the preflight. If you cannot participate in the live event, there will be an archive available. The archive only requires that you have a G2 version of RealPlayer.

Display Monitor

Settings Set your display monitor settings at 1024 by 768 to view both the presentation and the Message Center. If you have 800 by 600 display settings you may need to scroll up and down to see each slide entirely during the broadcast.

RAM

The computer you are using to view the broadcast should have at least 64 MB RAM. If you have less you may experience a slowing down of performance.

Connecting to the Broadcast

Connect to the broadcast 30 minutes before the scheduled broadcast time to allow our computer to connect in time for the broadcast to begin. It could take 10 to 20 minutes to connect depending on the speed of your connection and your computer. In order for the speaker to be able to change the slides that you see in real time, the content is downloaded to your computer during this connection phase.
