Regional MPH Program Requirements at UIC College of Medicine at Rockford

The program is available for medical students and those with at least three years of experience working in health or a public health field. The admission criteria and student performance standards are the same as those for students in the Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) program at the Chicago campus. Students are admitted to the program every year in the fall semester. For more information, visit the Rockford program website.

Financial Aid

Limited financial aid is available to qualified students in the form of traineeships or research assistantships. Students can apply for traineeships or research assistantships after they have been accepted into a degree program. Traineeships may include a monthly stipend and/or payment of in-state tuition and fees. Research assistantships provide students with opportunities to participate in faculty research projects and include a wage and, in most cases, a tuition waiver. Students may contact the university's Office of Student Financial Aid, the SPH Office of Student Affairs, or the HPA Administrative Office at 312-996-7816 for more information.

Students interested in the Public Health Informatics (PHI) program must apply through the PHI website.
