Mary Keehn, PT, MHPE

Ms. Keehn is Director of Physical Therapy Services and Rehabilitation Program Manager at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy in the College of Applied Health Sciences at UIC. In addition to more than 20 years of experience in administration of physical therapy and rehabilitation services, Ms. Keehn has been actively involved in the accreditation of physical therapy education programs and the development and mentoring of physical therapy leaders.

Ms. Keehn’s clinical expertise is in the areas of neurorehabilitation, cardiopulmonary physical therapy and working with persons with mental illness. Ms. Keehn has more than 20 years of experience in the education of physical therapists in the areas of professional issues, physical therapy practice management, therapeutic exercise, neurorehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and exercise testing.

Ms. Keehn holds a B.S. in Physical Therapy from UIC and a Master’s in Health Professions Education also from UIC.
