Internship Description:
MGF of Illinois is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to support
those with myasthenia gravis. This chronic disease can be quite disabling,
sometimes for a long period of time. MGF of Illinois offers education
seminars, a newsletter, support groups, a website, and an office call
line. Our Medical Advisory Board is headed by Julie Rowan, a neurologist
at UIC, and includes members from Northwestern, Rush, and U of C.

At our support groups and meetings, we feel we don't see many low-income individuals. We'd like to serve this group better. But how?
