MPH and PhD Programs in MCHThe MCHP curriculum leading to Master of Public Health (MPH) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees prepares students to better understand and address long-standing problems and emerging issues facing women, children, and families. Students have opportunities to develop and/or enhance their skills in community assessment; program planning, development, and evaluation; program management, advocacy, and policy development; health promotion; and research. Our program adheres to the competencies developed by the Association of Teachers of Maternal and Child Health (ATMCH) and approved by the MCH Council of the Association of Schools of Public Health and the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP).
