The Maternal & Child Health Program (MCHP) resides within the Division of Community Health Sciences (CHS). MCHP offers two types of degrees—the Master's of Public Health and the Doctor of Philosophy in Maternal and Child Health and Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology. We also partner with various programs at UIC to provide unique joint degrees. Overall, each of our students has the opportunities to develop and/or enhance their skills in community assessment; program planning, development, and evaluation; program management, advocacy, and policy development; health promotion; and research.
